KSA staff receive awards at the ACO Christian Soldier Awards

1 Corinthians 15:58 58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

We are so proud and thankful for KSA staff Ms Gigi Tang (20 year service award) and Mr Kwokki Leung (14 year service award) for their faithful and long term commitment and service in KSA. They were recently awarded “Christian Soldier – Loyal Service Awards” by the Hong Kong Association of Christian Organisations. Here’s some sharing from the award winners.

Ms Gigi Tang:

Thank the Lord! I have been working in the HK Christian Kun Sun Association Ltd for more than 20 years. I recall that when the Lord first led me to serve in this organization it opened my eyes to the fact that God is real and living, and I can truly experience His beauty. Although I am responsible for clerical work, not only do I serve my co-workers on the front lines, I also have the opportunity to go into prisons and preach the gospel to the inmates inside. During these years, my co-workers and I have witnessed the power of the gospel. Prisoners/rehabilitated people have received the gospel and their lives have been changed. This makes me feel the love of God. He walks with us and makes our faith and mission stronger! Although now The society and the world situation are unstable, but I believe that God is the God who gives people hope! I think this job is very meaningful, and I am willing to continue in this position to shine for the Lord!

Mr Kwok Ki Leung

I am a rehabilitated person who was saved and transformed by the Lord. I served in the Gospel Drug Rehabilitation Village for 8 years and helped many brothers believe in the Lord and repent.

14 years ago, I was invited by the Hong Kong Christian Kun Sun Association to join the organization and set up the male hostels to help brothers who have been released from prison or who have graduated from gospel drug rehabilitation. They may have other addictive behaviors, and housing difficulties. The hostel ministry has helped them solve housing and life problems, adapt and reintegrate into society, church and experience God. We have also helped more than 40 rehabilitated people who were paroled from life sentences.

Thank God, the hostel has been expanded from one to four and many brothers have been helped.

I am very grateful to the organization for its recognition and encouragement. I will continue to be faithful in my position and in my life to witness God and be a faithful servant of the Lord.
