The inauguration of the first staff of the “the New Life fellowship” (Youth Rehabilitated Persons Fellowship) was inaugurated, and a total of seven people were appointed as staff members Stanley Prison’s Category A prisoners formed the ‘Fringe People’ in order to write their own worship songs.
Started ministry at the Ma Tau Wai Juvenile Home (Retention) and at the same time Stanley Prison and Shek Pik Prison opened up for individual visits. For the first time the “Prison Evangelism Training” course was held.

Began ministry at the Phoenix House, the Begonia Road Boy’s Home (Retention) and the Pui Chi Boys’ Home Invited an overseas evangelistic sport ministries (The Australian Basketballers for Christ and the (US life Football Team) to conduct evangelistic competitions in the Institutions.
